Use Coupons to Make Money Online

Have you ever heard about “couponing arbitrage”? Arbitrage is the practice of buying and selling products and service at the same time (you act as a middle man), where you earn a profit from your sale. There is a sports betting system called “coupon arbitrage” but that is not what I am talking about here. Couponing arbitrage is the practice of using manufacturer coupons to buy merchandise on sale and then selling that same merchandise elsewhere.

Manufacturers sometimes offer great coupons to retailers to help spur sales of old inventory or to generate excitement about new products. You may never see these coupons again but if you know the products are in high demand then using the coupons to buy the products at a great discount may give you an opportunity to resell the items after the coupons have all been used by consumers.

There isn’t much money to be made in couponing arbitrage (yet) but if you can use extreme couponing strategies to get merchandise at next-to-nothing prices then you may just be able to flip some expensive consumer merchandise. I’m not talking about buying toothpaste and selling it on eBay. I’m talking about finding great deals for electronics and other high-priced items.

Manufacturers are most likely to reduce the price of merchandise that is just about to be replaced by new models. You’ll see these items go on sale at the big shopping clubs, where manufacturer’s coupons may knock as much as $100 off the price of the item.

Once you know what to look for you can resell these items on sites like eBay.

Another great place to find coupons is at outlet malls. The stores are keen to clear out merchandise as each season ends and they often have employees hand out special discount coupons. You might even find merchandise marked down 20-50% in these stores just at the very end of the season. We have even found 75-80% markdowns.

With just a couple thousand dollars you can buy high-demand consumer merchandise and resell it online for 2-3 times what you paid. There are, in fact, some small business owners who do this full-time.

So the next time you’re thinking about taking a vacation and you don’t know how to pay for it, head out to your local shopping club or outlet mall and see if you can spot some golden opportunities. Maybe you’ll be able to make some money without having to work too hard for it.
